Copyright & DMCA Takedowns
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Kpopgig respects the intellectual property rights of artists, photographers, and creators. Our community rules already require fans to upload only photos and videos they took themselves — but if you find content on kpopgig that you believe infringes your copyright, this page explains how to request its removal.
How to file a takedown notice
Email your notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request" and include:
- A link to the page or post on kpopgig.com where the infringing material appears, and a description of the copyrighted work you own (or are authorized to represent).
- Your full name, email address, and mailing address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We review every notice and will remove or disable access to material we determine to be infringing, usually within a few business days.
Counter-notice
If your post was removed and you believe that was a mistake — for example, the photo is yours — you may email a counter-notice to [email protected] with: a link to the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, your name, address, and consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts. We will review it and may restore the content.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly upload content they do not own will be permanently banned.
A note for fans
Please do not upload official artist photos, album artwork, screenshots from broadcasts or music videos, or photos taken by someone else — even with credit. Concert photos you took with your own camera or phone are welcome. When in doubt, don't upload it.
